Today, we announce the official instructions for the final INSTAR ERC-20 token migration ending on March 31, 2021 along with the simple instructions on how to migrate from INSTAR ERC-20 tokens to the native INSTAR protocol token of the INSTAR Blockchain! NO INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE COMMUNICATED IN ANY OTHER CHANNEL BESIDES THIS BLOG POST. DO NOT FOLLOW ANY OTHER INSTRUCTIONS. WE WILL NEVER EMAIL INSTRUCTIONS OR COMMUNICATE THEM IN ANOTHER CHANNEL.
ON March 31, 2021 AT 20:00 UTC THE MIGRATION PERIOD WILL END AND YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO MIGRATE INSTAR ERC-20 TOKENS.
Dear INSTAR Community,
We're opening one last round of token migration for INSTAR Community Members with ERC-20 tokens who missed the first 3 rounds of token migration. The final date to migrate your tokens is March 31, 2021. After this date there are no further rounds of INSTAR/ERC-20 token migrations planned.
As soon as your tokens are migrated, you'll be able to use your INSTAR in a growing number of ways that far exceed what was planned in the original Insights Network whitepaper. However, what you see now is only a small part of our greatest vision towards building the future of blockchain powered data exchange in 2021 and beyond. Thanks to everyone for your patience and continued support of the Instars project!
This final round of token migration will be completed in multiple batches on a first come first serve basis with the proposed batch schedule below.
1) Community members who have already completed the migration process on their end will receive first priority and be migrated first. Thanks for your patience!
2) We'll migrate new batches of tokens in groups every few weeks or so as community members complete the process. The sooner you migrate the better!
3) A final migration will be done for everyone who completes their migration by the deadline of March 31, 2021 as soon as possible.
How to Migrate Your INSTAR ERC-20 Tokens
Step 1: Generate a unique Keypair using this link: https://keypair-generator.instars.com/
*DO NOT SHARE YOUR PRIVATE KEY WITH ANYONE AND KEEP IT SAFE! OUR TEAM WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR PRIVATE KEY.
Click generate and make sure you save your Public Key and Private Key
Step 2: Now login to your https://www.myetherwallet.com/
Once logged in click on contract:>interact with contract as mentioned in below screenshots.
Step 3: Enter 0x2371c3764ABF450C60A9985a74f8Ce08A8fC7449 in contract address
And copy the ABI/JSOn interface from the below link. As shown in below screenshots.

Click Continue
On the next screen select an item from the list as Register as shown in below screenshots.
Step 4: After Selecting the Register button on next screen enter your INSTAR/EOS PUBLIC key which you generated on the first step. Keep the Value of Eth as 0 and tap on Write.
Step 5: After clicking “Write”, you will be asked to Authorize Transaction. Once you make the transaction, you’re done! Save your transaction hash and make sure it was successful.
Now you've completed the registration. Congratulations!
Check to see if your Ethereum address paired properly by clicking this link https://etherscan.io/address/0x2371c3764abf450c60a9985a74f8ce08a8fc7449#readContract and entering your Ethereum address into the field eosPublicKeys field.
Step 6: WAIT! Starting after the ERC-20 INSTAR token contract, the Instar team will batch the transactions and release the tokens into the INSTAR Public Keys that are paired to your ERC-20 address containing your INSTAR tokens. Expect at least two weeks after pairing your Ethereum address to your INSTAR address for your tokens to be claimable.
Step 7: Download the Anchor Wallet from the official GreyMass Website: https://greymass.com/en/anchor/ This wallet will allow you to access your INSTAR tokens using your private key.
Step 8: Click Setup Wallet and set your Anchor password:
Step 9: Connect to the Insights Blockchain on Anchor Wallet:
Step 10: Select Import Private Key and import the private key that you created during Step 1. DO NOT SHARE YOUR PRIVATE KEY WITH ANYONE AND KEEP IT SAFE! OUR TEAM WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR YOUR PRIVATE KEY. It may take a few weeks to be able to access your account since the team will need to migrate the tokens.

As soon as your tokens are migrated successfully, you'll be able to use your INSTAR tokens in a growing number of ways that far exceed what was planned in the original Insights Network whitepaper.
