Today, we are excited to share V1 of our INSTAR Wallet with our community! INSTAR Wallet V1 is now available to download on Google Play. Users who have already completed KYC were e-mailed account logins and temporary passwords. You do not have to redo KYC.
INSTAR Wallet V1 allows users to one-click subscribe to upcoming blockchain projects and exchange their email and Ethereum address and earn INSTAR for doing so. This is data exchange in it’s simplest form and demonstrates the beginning of our data exchange marketplace.
INSIGHTS NETWORK TO COMPETE IN BLOCKCHAIN IDV
At the Insights Network, we’re building a massive network of Data Validation partners, and today, we’re proud to announce our partnership with Netverify by Jumio, who will be our premier identity validation partner, ensuring each user of the Insights data exchange is a trusted member of the Insights Network. A detailed, official joint press release will go out on April 5, so please take this as a community update, and allow the official press release to go out before publicizing this milestone partnership outside of our community.
We are taking this opportunity to announce our full intention to compete and be the blockchain industry leader in identity management and verification. To date, we have already acquired 100,000 Insights Network users, and 40,000 have already completed KYC and received account logins to begin participating in the Data Exchange!
The first step an Insights Network community member takes to enter the Data Exchange is to become verified. In order to build the world’s most successful data exchange the data must be accurate and validated. Over time, we will continue to add Data Validation partners that can verify all types of consumer data that a user inputs. The data validation is decentralized, where a data validator can only access the specific data point they’re capable of validating.
Data Exchange
We’re also excited to announce the first three projects that have joined the Insights Network. These innovative projects are the first to fuel the Insights Network data exchange by using INSTAR tokens.
Layer Protocol — The Layer Protocol (LRX) is a global, decentralized reputation, incentive and payments system, powered by the Ethereum blockchain and an ERC20-compatible token called LRX, that creates a new form of consumer reputation score and unifies sharing economy companies across the globe. The concept of ownership is changing with the explosion of new sharing economy platforms, and the industry poised to hit $40 billion in revenue by 2020. Signals Network — Signals aims to disrupt the cryptotrading industry by lowering the barrier to creating algorithmic trading models, even for users without any programming skills. Our mission is to open crypto trading to anyone by empowering users with smart tools for creating automated trading strategies. Signals is a playground for those who want to experiment with different trading models and machine learning techniques, as well as building and optimizing strategies and sharing them with others. After closing multiple fruitful partnerships, we have released an alpha version of Signals, which has already more than 17,000 registered users.
Open Garden — Open Garden (OG) is building AirBnB for Internet access. Share your connection - earn OG Tokens. “We’re tokenizing bandwidth and trying to fundamentally change how people connect to the Internet with our peer to peer mesh networking protocol. We can make Internet access more affordable, faster and more secure. We have a big vision, solid 16-person team, and a real product already in market. To grow our token adoption, we have an existing community of 5M registered users with our product called FireChat across the US, Hong Kong, India, Philippines. We are targeting official launch for June 2018”.
The next step for the INSTAR wallet is the integration of surveys, which should be launched within one month. We’re currently speaking with several of the largest survey brokers in the world about integrating their current client list of data requesters into the Insights Network.
